I remember celebrating your very first birthday. Jared wasn't born
yet, but he came to the party, too! That was 26 years ago? Wow!

I also remember how I had just bought Jared five turtlenecks and five
pairs of corduroy pants for church. He wore the first set of his new
clothes to Sabbath School and you told him that he looked like his
mother had dressed him! I had to buy the child new clothes all over
again... cooler ones... right away! And then of course Jordan didn't
want to wear his turtlenecks and corduroy pants either. I was not happy!
:-) But I have to admit, it was time for both of them him to have a

I particularly enjoy watching you perform sign language to spiritual
music. Your talented interpretations are mesmerizing! You are poetry in
motion and you make the inspirational message of the words all the
more powerful and impactful.
You
were such a beautiful baby, Imani and you have grown up to be a
beautiful, accomplished, Christian young lady. May God continue to guide
and bless your life as you continue to live for Him.
Happy 26th Birthday!
With love and prayers,
